How to think Positive?



Thinking positive is not a matter of chance, but a matter of choice. People complain in many situations, they are not able to create positive thoughts in their mind. They blame situations, people or their own acquired nature for their negative thoughts. And this is the main reason of stress, anxiety, anger and depression.

Thinking positive is an art of living. Everyone has taught us from the very beginning of our life, that how to talk, how to sit, how to stand, how to study, how to behave in society and so on. We may have got a good school, college and education, but no one taught us, “HOW TO THINK?” and this is the greatest mystery of Human culture, where the root is not taken care of and everyone is watering the branches. Root of every feeling, action and behavior is a thought.




In the flow diagram we can understand that everything starts from a thought. And we can judge how important to think positive is. Thoughts when repeated several times create feelings. Feelings have a direct influence on our behavior and then our action changes. If we repeat this process several times then repeated action will make a habit. Slowly on the basis of our quality of thoughts, we will develop that quality of habits, which will define our personality. Now this is our personality and if its bad or good because the root (quality of thoughts) was bad or good respectively, it is definitely going to influence my destiny.

First Step to think positive is the understanding of what a positive thought is. A positive thought can be defined as a thought that conserves or increases our mental and spiritual energy. It can also be defined as a thought which creates good feelings. Positive thoughts are generally slow but powerful. It calms down the mind and generate peace, happiness and joy inside. Positive thoughts have the healing properties, it can heal the body, the mind and even the surroundings.

Second step to think positive is the understanding that we create our thoughts on the basis of three parameters. Those are, Belief Systems or our Conscious Mind, the Past Memories and Present Information. We cannot alter our past, but the Present Information can be taken care of, which we are perceiving from external sources, whether it is your internet, television, books or your society. Also, we have the power to alter our belief systems. And it is possible through self-talk, and meditation.

In simple words, to start thinking positive means to correct our belief systems and our present information. These two factors, if taken care can help you out to think positive with ease and you’ll start loving your life.  Also it takes patience and strong will to start transforming yourself. Because it is an in-out process. Start changing yourself from the thought level, work on your belief systems and certainly you will start loving and enjoying the treasures of positive life.
